Yes. There are different forms of power — as described in the piece, I define power as personal agency. An artist has power. A civil resister has power. A poet has power. Power is personal means. I believe that it is what we’re all seeking; sometimes for beautiful ends, sometimes for corrupt ends, but most often with fitful uncertainty because we’re not permitted to acknowledge it (e.g., “a predilection to be battled”).
