How an inspirational classic inspired the King of Pop

In observation of Michael’s birthday of August 29, I am sharing a section from my Secrets of Self-Mastery, coming out soon in an expanded edition.

I want to share a revelation about performer Michael Jackson. I write this observation with some trepidation. I realize that the pop legend is controversial today. But I also believe that every artist, of whatever type, deserves to be remembered for his or her best work.

In that sense, I am sharing an extraordinary handwritten note of Michael’s. It is pure inspirational mind metaphysics, or what is often called New Thought.

Michael’s note comports well with the outlook of success writer Napoleon Hill. What’s more, his note beckons you, the reader, to complete it — he actually left a blank space at the end to enter your own aim. To my knowledge, this short piece of writing has never before appeared in book form.

Michael was no stranger to mind metaphysics or the power of suggestion. The philosophy made up a significant part of his artistic outlook.
