I am unaware of any comments being edited out of the responses. I try to be transparent about my vantage point: “I am not a diagnostician. I am a longtime and fitful student on the road of life, and nothing else.” Rather than celebrate over-diagnosis and victimhood, I call for decision and action when faced with predatory behavior, which I think abounds in our angry and alienated (if privileged) culture. In terms of human nature, if certain spiritual traditions are right, my fifty-percent estimate is generous. -MH
